Meet Your Eye Doctor in Miami Lakes 



Dr. Belkis Perez, OD 

Dr. Belkis Perez is a dedicated optometric physician committed to providing comprehensive eye care to the Miami Lakes community. A native of South Florida, Dr. Perez earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2016. Her clinical training emphasized the management of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, pediatric eye care, and contact lens fitting. 

At Lakes Eye Center, Dr. Perez offers a range of services, including comprehensive eye exams, medical eye evaluations, emergency eye care, and specialized contact lens fittings. She has a particular interest in managing glaucoma, fitting specialty contact lenses such as scleral and rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses, and implementing myopia control strategies for patients of all ages. 

Dr. Perez is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Optometric Association (AOA), the Florida Optometric Association (FOA), and the Broward County Optometric Association. Since joining the team at Lakes Eye Center in 2022, she has been instrumental in delivering personalized and compassionate eye care to her patients.
